between locations. Throughout Belize taxis can be identified by their green license
plates. |

In Belize City taxi prices are set. Ask your bell man,
receptionist, bus driver or other service personnel for directions and taxi prices before
proceeding to your next destination. |

Cameras and binoculars should be used only when moving with
large groups. |

If driving, be certain to lock doors and keep windows up. Keep
valuables in the trunk or glove compartment. Never pick up strangers |

In the rare even that a stranger approaches you and demands your
valuable items, do not resist. Your safety is more important than your belongings. |

When traveling by public transport, keep a close eye on your
belongings at all times. |
